Savannah Breeze by Mary Kay Andrews (Review)

Savannah Breeze Savannah Breeze by Mary Kay Andrews

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Another good one for my fellow antique lovers, yard sale-a-holics, junkers & rummage goers! Andrews sequel to Savannah Blues does not disappoint! All your favorite main characters are back...Along with a couple new ones! BeBe Loudermilk (Eloise's best friend, the main character from the last book) is the main character this time. Not to give anything away, let's just say BeBe get's mixed up with Mr. Wrong & vows to right those wrongs. She rounds up a posse made up of Granddaddy Loudermilk, Eloise & Harry (could he be Mr. Right!?) They hit the road to Fort Lauderdale, Florida determined to find Mr. Wrong. It's a fun road trip that you won't want to miss! And of course there's "junking" along the way! Another book I highly recommend!

Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston (Review)

Happiness Sold Separately Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston

My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This is one of few books I would not recommend to anyone. I found the characters to be rather annoying. And don't get me started on the ending of this book! To sum it up...Unlike other books, I could not wait for this one to end!

Savannah Blues by Mary Kay Andrews (Review)

Savannah Blues Savannah Blues by Mary Kay Andrews

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Calling all my fellow antique lovers, yard sale-a-holics, junkers & rummage goers! This book is for you! Don't consider yourself to be one of the above!? This book also comes highly recommended for all you people that like whodunits or quirky southern humor! This was a great book! A funny, quick, page turning read! The main character is a picker...someone who goes to yard sales, thrift stores, etc looking for all things vintage & antique. Taking place in Savannah, GA. of course you have lots of funny, quirky southern characters throughout the story! And for those of you who have been to Savannah you will have a great time revisiting it in through this story! Toss in the whodunit & this book is sure to keep you turning pages!

In Her Shoes In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found it to be a quick & entertaining read. Nice change from some of the Novels I had been reading excessively. The characters were enjoyable & I often found myself laughing out loud. I recommend to anyone looking for a light, funny read.
